My name is John Lopez, the architect behind Jool Ark — a practice based in Copenhagen, with a professional presence in Costa del Sol and Bogotá. Over the years, my nomadic spirit has also led me to live in London, Paris, and New York.

Art and design run through the generations of my family. I began my professional journey in graphic design and scenography for media productions. My path also includes university studies in music, which strongly influence my creative thinking and approach to design.

Later, I earned my architectural degree and qualifications from the Royal Danish Academy in Denmark and am professionally registered in Spain and Colombia.

With over two decades of international experience, I collaborate through Jool Ark with a network of outstanding professionals and businesses. Together, we are committed to enhancing environments — infusing them with beauty, functionality, and thoughtfully conceived design imbued with meaning.
